Eating Out

The local town, Knighton (15-minute drive) has a number of 'pub grub' inns and there are a couple of tea-rooms, as well as the usual take-aways (Chinese, Indian, Fish & Chips).

In the surrounding area (all about 30 minutes' drive) are The Stagg at Titley, highly recommended - and The Harp at Old Radnor (delightful rural setting). There's The Jolly Frog at Leintwardine and the Bishop's Castle brewery pubs (The Three Tuns and The Six Bells) both serve good bar food. But the food capital of the area is definitely Ludlow, which has a number of fine dining options, bistros and restaurants.

Or why not try some of the popular home-made frozen meals available in the freezer - stews, vegetarian bakes, soups, puddings and desserts, etc. - all very reasonably priced and there not just as an emergency back-up, but also to help you make the most of quality time with friends and family.
